Children's Literacy and the Growth of Graphic Novels

Jason Platt grew up in Durham, North Carolina and is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. He is a member of the National Cartoonists Society and is the author/illustrator of the graphic novel series, Middle School Misadventures and Paw & Order. His books have been in the Texas Library Association's Little Maverick List, The Children's Book Council top ten books of 2025, and his books have been translated into seven different languages. He is currently working on his next book.
